Our story
We are your hosts, Masako & Tatsuzo. During our extensive travels in New Zealand, we had a priceless time meeting new people from all over the world and were impressed with the style of hostels and lodges that we experienced there. When we returned to Japan, we were inspired to start a guesthouse of our own, incorporating some of the qualities that we value most, such as proximity to the ocean and nature, a clean and comfy stay, and a family-oriented hosting environment.
A Hand-Crafted Haven Nurtured with Love
Our accommodation began as a traditional Japanese house, slowly transformed by our own hands into an ideal getaway. From the bonfire pit and BBQ deck to our cozy "Sea Hut," every corner has been self-renovated to blend with the natural flowers and coastal breeze of Amakusa. We maintain the property daily with the same care one would give to raising a child.

I’m a little bit shy at first, but once I get to know you, I’m quite the chatterbox.
I also love going for walks, taking naps, and of course, my favorite snack, "Churu"! Treats and gifts are always more than welcome!

Hi there! I’m Zion.
I love interacting with guests and I’m obsessed with anything that moves—especially kayaks and mini-trucks! I’m always ready to greet you with lots of energy.
A little heads-up: I love vehicles so much that I might try to hop into your car, so please keep your doors closed! Also, please help me follow the rules by not letting me inside the guesthouse or the Sea Hut. I look forward to seeing you!
