Our story
We are your hosts, Masako & Tatsuzo. During our extensive travels in New Zealand, we had a priceless time meeting new people from all over the world and were impressed with the style of hostels and lodges that we experienced there. When we returned to Japan, we were inspired to start a guesthouse of our own, incorporating some of the qualities that we value most, such as proximity to the ocean and nature, a clean and comfy stay, and a family-oriented hosting environment.
After COVID19 pandemic, our style has been changed from dorm to private guesthouse, hut, camp.
However not our policy hasn't, we are always welcome to have you and very happy to share comfy and friendly atmosphere.
育む宿
もともとは民家しかありませんでしたが、宿として使う建物をセルフリノベーションし、入り口のアプローチ、ゲストの皆様が集える焚火場、BBQを楽しめるデッキスペース、宿泊もできる小さな海小屋など、毎年少しずつ手作りしました。潮風の影響を直接受ける場所のため、メンテナンスも欠かせません。
ほぼ夫が一人で作業をおこなうため、毎年、一歩ずつ、コツコツとですが、お越しいただくゲストのみなさまに喜んでいただけるよう、大事に育んでいます。
また開業当初は素泊まりの宿でしたが、お食事を希望のお客様には、天草の食材を使った食事や夫の釣り魚で作った自家製の一夜干し、そして移住先を決めるきっかけの一つとなったヒラスズキをつかった期間限定の手作りスモークなどもご提供しています。（事前予約）
まだまだ夫婦共に育て中の夢がたくさんあり、少しずつですがかたちにしていきますので、
遊びにきていただいた際は、成長過程も併せてお楽しみいただけたら嬉しく思います。
